Islam is an Arabic word meaning ”submission” and in the

religious context means ”submission to the Will of God.”

The crescent moon symbolize progress and the five pointed

star symbolize light and knowledge.

Allah is the Arabic word for God.

The grave should be perpendicular to the direction of Qibla(i.e.Mecca)

so that the body placed in the grave lying on its right side faces the Qibla.

Eid Al- Fitr is celebrated at the end of Ramadan(a month of fasting during

daylight hours) Eid-ul–Zuha(Bakrid) festival commemorate the willingness

of  Ibrahim/Abraham to follow Allah’s commands to sacrifice his son.
