1.The name Akashvani to radio station was conceived by
Na. Kasturi. The Akashvani Mysore was the first radio station
to be established in the city of Mysore in the year 1936.
2. Vidurashwatha is known as the”Jallianwala Bagh of the
South India.” It is a small village located in the Gauribidanur
taluk of Chikkaballapur district in the State of Karnataka, India.
On April 25,1938, as a part of the freedom struggle of India,
a group of villagers had congregated at Vidurashwatha, to
organize a Satyagraha . Similar to what happened at
Jallianwala Bagh, police fired indiscriminately at the group,
resulting in the death of around 35 people.

5.Christian Neethling Barnard was a South African cardiac
surgeon who performed the world’s first human to human
heart transplant on 3 December 1967 at Groote Schuur Hospital
in Cape Town, South Africa.
